Description. The first expansion to the best-selling War of the Ring game makes the greatest strategy game created from The Lord of the Rings even greater, with more figures, exciting additions to the rules, and a complete companion game which enables you to re-fight the most popular siege battles at the end of the Third Age!
Need help choosing which War of the Ring Expansions (if any) I should get. There are only 2 expansions out for the 2e. Both are going to be reprinted in mid August (Per email from aresgames CS), along with two different card tins (each includes custom sleeves). War of the Ring downgrade. (Upgrade) So I've mentioned this a few times in other posts on r/boardgames and pictures have been requested I finally got around to breaking it out and setting the game. I used Gale Force Nine's Parched Pasture set which I think worked quite well. I finished the whole project yesterday which totalled 72 days since I started- I'm estimating I was working 4-6 hours per day for approximately 60 of those days, assuming I took some days off. So around 300 hours working on this in all.
