When the car senses that the battery is weak or there is a low charge, it will disable convenience features, heated seats being one of them. Hey everyone, I had recently tackled the heater core on my '03 325i and wanted to share a couple pics of how I got to it without removing the dash. Most DIY's I found had you removing most of the dash and I had read other threads that it wasn't necessary. After removing shifter surround, remove E90 AC not working after water pump replacement. AC Stopped working when hot outside. After awhile, I noticed my AC would stopped working when it's really hot outside. I was told that this is probably due to the water pump not working properly and the ECU shutting off the AC thinking the engine is overheating. Pelican is correct. No hot water valve on E90. If I had to take a guess, your heater core is probably clogged, and not actually circulating any hot water. It's been the most common thing we've seen on E90's with no heat output.
